Mix the sugar with the margarine until it becomes fluffy. Then add the egg and vanilla and mix.
Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt and coconut flakes and add half of this mixture over the margarine. We continue to mix for a few seconds, until the flour is incorporated. Remove the mixer and add the rest of the flour, then by hand, but without kneading, mix only as much as necessary to obtain a homogeneous dough.
Divide the dough in half, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for half an hour.
Spread each half of the dough, in turn, in a thin sheet from which we cut the biscuits into the desired shape. We put them in the tray with baking paper and put them in the freezer for ten minutes. Meanwhile, heat the oven to 180 degrees.
For the icing, mix the vanilla sugar with the milk until it reaches the consistency of a thick cream.
Bake the biscuits until they become slightly golden (I forgot some of them in the oven and they tanned too hard) then when they have cooled completely we put a teaspoon of icing and spread it well on the whole surface. I then pressed coconut and colored candy.
