Oriental salad

Oriental salad is suitable as a garnish for a steak or is served as such.


  • 500 g potatoes
  • 2 suitable red onions
  • 3 boiled eggs
  • 1 teaspoon sweet mustard
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish mustard
  • 3-4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 100 g sliced ​​olives
  • 2-3 suitable pickles
  • 2-3 pieces of sour donut
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon dried mint

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes



Boil the diced potatoes in 500 ml of salted water. Allow to cool and during this time prepare the other ingredients. Cut the julienned onion and mix with a little salt, cut the cucumbers into rounds, diced donuts, diced eggs and put all the ingredients in a bowl together with the potatoes. Add sliced ​​olives, mustard and mayonnaise. Mix all the ingredients, add lemon juice and dried mint, season with salt and pepper. If you want, decorate the salad, if not serve as such.
